My husband and I arrived here for the weekend, we had booked to see Mary Poppins in the Prince Edward Theatre and wanted to stay in a nearby hotel due to it being a nightmare finding a taxi after the evening performance! The check-in staff and porter were friendly and helpful. The room was small [as is usual for central London] but it had everything we could have wished - TV, radio and internet access. Great Location would recommend it to anyone wanting the West End! - Mrs Tait | 8 |

Had a night staying here with a theatre visit for our wedding anniversary; was really pretty impressed with the hotel, considering previous experiences. Room wasn't the biggest, but it was nicely furnished with a lovely bathroom, good air conditioning, there was a bit of street noise from outside but what do you expect in this location? I recommend this hotel, if you get a decent deal through the Internet as we did - Mr Tom Brown | 7 |

| Probably the best location in London. Right next to Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square and just a short walk from Oxford Street. Very nicely decorated rooms but let down by their size, worth staying at if you can get a decent price.- Name on file | 7 |

I recently stayed at the Shaftesbury for a business trip to London. The location is superb, just a quick walk from the tube station and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very modern. The bathroom and shower are superb, and the beds are super comfortable. Despite being on a busy street, I had no problems with the noise. I would recommend the Indian restaurant next door, it has great food. - Peter Macdonald | 8 |
